外国企業の進出には、産業の高付加価値化・雇用創出・地域経済への波及・消費者利益の増大など様々なメリットがあります。
九州経済産業局では、九州の有する、アジアとの近接性、自動車・半導体をはじめとした産業集積、研究開発力、人材力等の投資先としてのポテンシャルを海外に発信するとともに、地域の特徴を活かして戦略的な外国企業誘致を行っている自治体等の取り組みを支援することにより、対日投資を促進しています。
(The establishment of operations by foreign companies brings various advantages including the creation of high value-added industry and employment, a ripple effect for the regional economy, and an increase in consumer interest.
The Kyushu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry is advertising Kyushu’s potential as an investment destination, such as geographical closeness to Asia, industrial clusters of automobile and semiconductor industries, capabilities of research and development, and the supply and availability of qualified human resources. At the same time, the bureau is promoting investment in Japan by supporting municipal governments that strategically implement measures to attract foreign companies using their regional characteristics.)
