九州半導体人材育成等コンソーシアム

概要

2022年3月29日、九州経済産業局と一般社団法人九州半導体・デジタルイノベーション協議会（通称SIIQ）※は、産業界、教育機関、行政機関等で構成する「九州半導体人材育成等コンソーシアム」を設立しました。
本コンソーシアムでは、半導体人材の育成・確保やサプライチェーンの強靱化等を図り、半導体産業の復活に向けた取組を、九州地域から強力に推進してまいります。

経済産業省が進める産業クラスター計画を推進する機関として、2002年5月に「九州半導体・エレクトロニクスイノベーション協議会（SIIQ）」（2023年4月の一般社団法人化に伴い九州半導体・デジタルイノベーション協議会に名称を変更）が、九州地域における半導体・エレクトロニクス関連産業の振興を目的として設立されました。
SIIQは、半導体・エレトロニクス関連企業に対する情報提供やセミナー・研究会の開催、販路開拓、ビジネスマッチングなど幅広い支援を行っているほか、九州半導体人材育成等コンソーシアムの共同事務局を担っています。

Kyushu Semiconductor Human Resource Development Consortium

On March 29, 2022, Kyushu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry and Kyushu Semiconductor and Digital Innovation Association (SIIQ) established “Kyushu Semiconductor Human Resource Development Consortium,” composed of national and local governments, industry, academia and others.

This consortium will vigorously promote initiatives from Kyushu region to revive the semiconductor industry, focusing on developing and securing semiconductor resource and strengthening the supply chain.

Kyushu Semiconductor and Electronics Innovation Association (SIIQ) was established in May 2002 as an organization to promote the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's industrial cluster initiative.

The association was renamed to Kyushu Semiconductor and Digital Innovation Association in April 2023 and founded to foster the semiconductor and electronics-related industries in Kyushu region.

SIIQ provides a wide range of support to semiconductor and electronics-related companies, including information provision, hosting seminars and study groups, market development, and business matching. SIIQ serves as the joint secretariat for Kyushu Semiconductor Human Resources Development Consortium.
